The combo plate that had beef brisket, ribs, and burnt ends was good. However, the burnt ends were a little bit tough to eat, and the beef brisket was a little bit underseasoned without sauce (sauce made it better). The fries were delicious and crispy, and the baked beans were good also. The food was got out relatively fast after ordering and the inside reminds me of an old-school BBQ joint. Overall, the food is not as good as Joe's, but it's nice to have a place that is not a chain (have multiple locations).

Holy shit boys. This is the best of the best. Wings, ribs, brisket, burnt ends and even the bacon wrapped shrimp were literally the best I've had anywhere. Service was awesome. A little pricy but not crazy. Have to try this place. Also try all 4 bbq sauces.

This food was amazing, when it comes to KS barbecue this is the place to go. The service was fast and so many options. Now if you meet Joel his like the uncle that man the grill and will talk to you about anything. He was amazing and for him being the owner and taking the time to make sure our meal was great was more than I could have asked for. I was able to bring all 3 of my kids in and we shared a combo platter and we still had leftovers. Make sure you try to the spicy jambalaya.

Everything was perfect! the food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service/staff was kind and timely. The price was modest. my friends and I would definitely come back next time we are in St. Louis!

I had to kick off the Super Bowl weekend with some old school KC BBQ, so I stopped in at Danny Edward's - one of the often overlooked Kansas City BBQ institutions. By only being open for 3-4 hours a day for lunch and closed on Sundays; this keeps DE's from being more widely known or appreciated, but with a 90 year family heritage of serving BBQ in this city, they deserve a bigger fan base. My 3 meat platter of brisket, 3 ribs and burnt ends and a side of onion rings, bread, pickles and sauce was $20 and well worth it. It filled me up so much that I needed an afternoon nap and had enough to take home for my wife to have a hearty dinner. The brisket , sauce and rings were best in class, as was the customer service. I not only had follow up service from the cashier but two gents from the kitchen and conversation. Maybe the best customer oriented BBQ joint in town, they truly make you feel that you are a valued customer. Upgrading my former 4 stars to 5 for never having a disappointing meal over the years and making me feel like I'm appreciated.

Celebrating a friends birthday so decided to try the place. Cute little place, order at the counter and they bring it to you. Got the combo plate to share. It's delicious! The service is friendly and the plate is huge!

Well the service is great, the BBQ could use some moisture. The BBQ sauce blows too. Potato sauce is boring. I have no idea why it's so dry, my burnt ends just couldn't chew. The ribs my husband had were pretty good. The onion rings were delicious. This location is a concrete jungle and you sit outside, there is a fence between you and you are sitting in a parking lot. I will pass on this place next time.
